Blue Marguerite (the mother site of Bulb in Blue) was created in 2008 by two French women, Audrey Liese and Gwendoline Yeretzian. Our goal was to create an e-magazine where creative minds of all levels could gather to exchange ideas. In March 2010, their sister sites, were created to incorporate the creative minds of their English/American and German friends.
At Bulb in Blue we recognize that the additions of many people from different backgrounds and cultures can only improve the creativity and options on our site. With that being said, we want you to contribute and make this site everything it can be. Communicate with other BlueSurfers, exhange arts and crafts ideas, post photos of your own creations, and do not hesitate to contact us with your ideas and suggestions to improve our ever-evolving site!
Audrey Liese : Marketing Director/Partnerships The founder of the project, Audrey graduated with Business and Editorial degrees from the School of Commerce of Paris and the School of Informational Jobs. She improves the general strategy, advertising management and maintains the technical coordination of the site. “I love creating, but I lack the practical ability! Sometimes, I venture to create by rule of thumb (it’s a little folkloristic), or of course I choose the easiest kit, but sometimes I miss an explanation needed to acheive the intended result. And I tell myself that I must not be the only one…With Blue Marguerite, I want to remove the “technical-psychological-cultural” barriers and to find the creativity hidden in each of us.”
Gwendoline Yeretzian : Editor/Art Director Graduate of the ECV (School of Visual Communications) she developes the editorial and artistic strategy and facilitates relations between professional and amateur communities.
“Manual work is a remarkable, quasi-unique, carrier of emotion. For Blue Marguerite, I unearth talents. I like the idea that creativity is accessible to everyone, big and small.”
