When you start a creative hobby like Nail Art, it’s important to have your own set of reusable tools for each nail decoration. Here we will tell you about all the essential nail art supplies, you'll be a pro in no time!
- Table cloth/oil cloth to protect the surface where you are doing your Nail Art.
- Nail file. There are glass, wooden and card nail files to choose from. If you have soft nails, do not use a nail file.
- A stick to push back cuticles. These are widely available in wood and the best quality sticks are ‘boxwood’. Always push back cuticles delicately, after softening them in lukewarm water.
- Nail varnish: Polish your nails at the end of the manicure to get rid of any bumps.
- Small cup: ramekins or saucers can be used to hold glitter or sequins to decorate nails. Try to prepare how much you will need before you start to avoid waste.
- Small containers: re-use small containers, e.g. glass yogurt pots, to use for making ‘glass water’.
- Pin or needle: a pin/ needle will be used to take some drops of nail varnish and put it directly on the nail. According to the quantity of nail varnish you want to use, you can create different patterns and thicknesses.
