What is a straight stitch?

  • This is the easiest stitch and the fastest to perform.
  • Warning: this stitch is not very solid. If the thread breaks, the stitching can be completely undone.

How to sew a straight stitch

  • Insert the needle on the right side, then on the wrong side, at  2 or 3 mm intervals.
  • It will be less time-consuming to make several little stitches with the needle before removing the thread.
