Tips
Professional tips
- Buy your products from specialty stores.
- Invest in water-based makeup that's easy to apply, dries rapidly, and is easy to remove.
- Don't buy too large of a color palette when you first start. Choose black, white, and at least the 3 primary colors: red, blue, and yellow. You can use them to make any other color!
- For girls, plan on using glitter, sequins, gloss, and blush! For boys, think about a sponge to make beards!
- For little ones that aren't used to wearing makeup, reassure them and do a light makeup job. Try to work quickly and don't put too much makeup near eyes or mouths.
- For the eyes and the fragile skin surrounding them, avoid glitter or sequins. Use small makeup accents instead.
