You're looking for something cheap and quick to give your home a touch of Easter festivity? Have you thought about using post-it notes yet? With post-it notes you can make a lovely Easter hen.

The best thing about this Easter hen is that it can be removed quick and easily, so once the Easter eggs are finished, your Easter hen can be gone too!

Supplies

Tools

A pair of scissors to cut the post-it notes to the right shape.

Materials

Yellow and pink rectangular post-it notes (other colors and shapes will do the job though).

Directions

Make the outline of the Easter Hen

Make the outline of the body of the hen by sticking post-it notes one on top of the other.
Draw a line for the legs.

Put the finishing touches to the Easter Hen

Cut out a triangle from the end of a yellow post-it note and stick it on to make the tail feathers.
Cut out 4 triangular pieces from a pink post-it note and stick them down to make the beak.
Cut out the end of a post-it note diagonally to make the spur.
Cut out a small rectangle from a yellow post-it and stick it on to make the eye.
Cut out the yellow post-it notes to make an egg out of them.
