This is a cute stocking advent calendar that you can make with the kids. All you need is some paper and paint for this fun little project.
Supplies
Tools
  • Rollers for painting (or big paintbrushes)
  • Stapler
  • Bowl of water
  • Pots for the different colors of paint.
  • Optional: child's apron, 24 chocolate coins
Materials
  • Newspaper to protect the tabletop.
  • White sheets of paper
  • Poster paint
  • Clothes pin
  • Thread
  • Paper glue

  • Cut them out.
  • Draw 24 front boot pieces and 24 back boot pieces on white sheets, following the outlines of the shape.
  • Cut them out.
  • Pour the paint into the pots.
  • Paint the boots as a pair: a front and a back together.
  • Leave them to dry.
  • Staple the pairs of boots together all around the edges, leaving the top open.
  • Cut out small squares on the white sheet of paper.
  • Write the numbers of the days of the month of December.
  • Attach a clothes pin to each boot.
  • Slide a chocolate coin in each boot.
  • Hang the boots on the thread with clothes pegs.
