How do you make a candle decoration without the candles falling over in the basket? It's easy if you follow the tutorial of KittyKrea, using an egg box as the main piece, which you can customise to your desires and can be used to decorate your table, especially during Christmas. 
Supplies
Tools
  • Cutter or knife
  • Scissors
  • Glue 
Materials
  • Basket
  • Egg box
  • Wood wool
  • Long candles
  • Ribbon
  • Moss
  • Various decorations: small figurines, ribbons, stars etc.
  • Natural decorations: leaves, ivy etc. 
Directions
  • Cut the egg box in two parts to the same length as the bottom of the basket.

  • Stick the parts of the box together as shown in the picture below, with the "bumps" facing outwards.

  • Stick the box to the bottom of the basket.

  • Place wood wool all around the box.

  • Make an x-shaped hole in the top of each " bump" to slide the candles into.

  • Slide the candles into the hole.

  • Make some rings from ribbon which is the same diameter of the candle.

  • Slide the rings around the candles.

  • Make some bows using the ribbon.

  • Attach the bow onto the ribbon ring.

  • Hide the egg box with moss.

  • Decorate the basket with little figurines, ribbons and other Christmas decorations.

Tips
  • For extra safety, mist the basket with water before lighting the candles.
