Supplies
Tools
- A 3cm wide ruler
- Cutter
- Pencil
- Chalk cutter (optional)
Materials
- 1 square of felt 30 cm x 30 cm which is 5 mm thick
- A tube of 3D multisurface fabric paint
- Rough paper
Directions
Make the dominos
For dominos 3cm x 6 cm
- Draw, in pencil, 5 vertical lines all 30cm (12inches) and then 6 horizontal lines all 18cm (7inches) on the felt, using a ruler. You should get 30 rectangles measuring 3 x 6cm (1.2 x 2.4 inches).
- Draw a line lengthways on each of the rectangles to create the 2 faces of the domino.

- Go over these lines with the 3D paint.
NB: Draw a thin line, as the felt absorbs the ink very quickly.
- Cut out the dominos along the 6 horizontal lines. You should get 30 dominos.

Mark the dots on the dominos
- Make a note on a piece of paper a list of 28 dominos and their combinations.

- = 28 dominos
- NB: Cross out the dominos you have made as you go along making them.
- Mark the dots on the dominos with 3D paint.

- Cross out the combinations you make as you go along.
- Don't forget the double "0".
- Cut out some spare dominos, just in case you smudge the paint!

- Tidy your dominos into a bag for when you travel.
