Directions
Front of knitted baby's dress

Cast on 62 stitches with the white plush yarn and knit 8 rows of jersey stitch, increasing each side: 1 x 2 stitches and 2 x 1 stitch, to reach 70 stitches.

Carry on knitting in jersey stitch with the ecru yarn, decreasing each side every 9 rows: 8 x 1 stitch, to reach 54 stitches.

Decrease the armholes, from 30 cm of the total height: every 2 rows, 1 x 3 stitches, 1 x 2 stitches; and then every 4 rows, 4 x 1 stitch; and finally every 6 rows, 2 x 1 stitch.

Cast off the 5 remaining stitches for the shoulder.
Back of knitted baby's dress

Cast on 63 stitches with the white plush yarn and knit 8 rows of jersey stitch, increasing each side: 1 x 2 stitches and 2 x 1 st itch, to reach 70 stitches.

Carry on knitting in jersey stitch with the ecru yarn, decreasing both side every 9 rows: 8 x 1 stitch, to reach 54 stitches.

Make the armholes, starting from 30 cm of the total height, decreasing every 2 rows: 1 x 3 stitches, 1 x 2 stitches; and then every 4 rows, 4 x 1 stitch; and finally every 6 rows, 2 x 1 stitch.

Separate the piece in two, from 34 cm of the total height, and finish each side separately, to make the back slit.

Decrease the neck side from 40 cm of the total height: every 2 rows 1 x 9 stitches, and 1 x 2 stitches.

Cast off the 5 remaining stitches on the shoulder.
Sleeves of knitted baby's dress

Cast on 35 stitches with the white plush yarn and knit 2 cm, restarting from an increase of 5 stitches, to reach 40 stitches.

Carry on with the ecru yarn.

Decrease each side every 2 rows: 1 x 3 stitches, 1 x 2 stitches and 10 x 1 stitch.

Cast off the 10 remaining stitches.
Putting the knitted baby's dress together and finishing touches

Sew the sleeves into the arm holes.

Sew up the sleeves and the sides of the dress.

Pick up the stitches round the neck with the white plush yarn and sew another 2 cm.

Make the buttonhole in the back, 1 cm away from the edge, and sew the button on opposite the buttonhole.
Crochet Flower for the knitted baby's dress

Crochet 5 stitches of chain stitch, sewn into a circle.

Crochet 5 petals of 25 stitches, with one stitch in the centre.

Sew the centre and petals together, and embroider the stem using chain stitch.
