Draw the template for the toy rabbit
For a 30cm-tall toy rabbit...
- Print the body template and the smaller templates. (All these template allow room for seams).
- Draw round the templates on the fabric and the felt, in chalk or pencil. Cut out the shapes.

Toy rabbit's feet and arms
- Sew the two sides together with normal stitching, leaving the top open.

- Do the same for the other foot.
- Do the same for the hands.
- Turn each part inside out and stuff them half-full with the wadding.

- Sew the tops together without turning the seams inside out.
NB : This part will be inside the toy so it will not be visible.
Toy rabbit's tummy and ears
- Use the buttonhole stitch on your sewing machine.

- Draw the eyes and the nose in felt and hand-sew them on.
- Attach the nose by sewing a cross.
- Embroider the mouth, neck and whiskers.

Toy rabbit's body
- Position the arms and legs on the embroidered fabric (the front of the rabbit), and cover with the other piece of fabric (the back of the rabbit).
- Sew the two sides of the body together, with the outside parts facing in (the eyes should be on the inside), leaving the red part open.
NB : Begin sewing from where the green arrow points and go down from there.

- Turn the rabit inside out, passing the limbs through the ear.
NB : Begin with the second ear before you do the others.
- Stuff the rabbit with the wadding.
- Finish the toy by hand-sewing the open part together.
NB : These photos do not correspond to the above descriptions.

Tips
- To have less wasted material, fold the fabric in half and cut 2 identical shapes at the same time.
- Draw your embroidery pattern onto the fabric with pencil first.
