Make this wooden Christmas tree cut out from a piece of plywood. It doesn't take up any space and can hang up on the wall. You can make decorations for your tree by making small felt Christmas ornaments attached to the tree with velcro strips.
Learn how to draw a symetrical Christmas tree:
Draw out the tree on a piece of plywood with a pencil. (Remember not to draw the foot of the tree).
Cut out the tree following the outline you've drawn, using a jigsaw.
Sand the edges.
Apply an undercoat of white paint on the entire surface of the wood.
Leave to dry.
Paint the tree green.
Draw on some of the branches on the tree in green to give your tree some detail.
Paint the trunk of the tree brown.
Make some small felt Christmas figurines.
Attach the first part of the velcro piece to the back of the felt figurine.
Attach to the tree on the other half of one of the velcro strips, which are scattered around the tree.
