It's hard to search for the perfect earrings to go with a special outfit or necklace... So why not make them yourself! All it takes is a half hour to create a pair and the best part? They are completly original and you can make them any color you want! You'll get hooked making them, but don't worry- they make fantasic gifts for friends and family, too.

Supplies

Tools

Rounded pliers
Clipping pliers

Materials

Long pins with flat heads
2 earring
Beads of different shapes and sizes (in this example: 2 beeds with iridescent glass, two waterdop beads, 2 hoops and 2 beads that hang in the hoops).

Directions

Putting the beads on the pins

String the iridescent bead and the waterdrop bead on one of the pins.

Cut the pin with the pliers 1 cm from the top.

Make a loop with the end using the round pliers.
- Bend the pin at a 90 degree angle.
- Then bend it in the other direction to make the round loop.
- Don' close the loop all the way. It should resemble a hook.
