Stone Painting

Prepare your materials for stone painting

• Collect stones from the beach.
  • Ensure they are smooth and as flat as possible
  • Wash them before painting on them

• Set up your work space (protective covering, apron, etc) and your paint.

Paint the stones

• Paint the stones however you wish.
• Leave to dry.
• To make your creation more shiny, add a touch of varnish or clear glue once the paint is dry.

• For baby footprints: put a bit of paint on a palette. Put the baby's foot on the palette in the paint and then on the stone.

• Sign and date it.

Note : Don't forget to have your kids sign their creations! They will be thrilled to come across their artwork when older!
