A carrot bead charm made from fimo polymer clay to add a playful edge to your style! This carrot bead can also be used as a brooch, a button, or, if you make two, a cute pair of earrings!

Materials

Green and orange polymer clay

Directions

Make the carrot shape

Form a large orange ball that you will elongate gently to give it its form.

Mark the carrot by gently pressing on the bottom of the needle across its middle.

Make a tiny ball and flatten it on one side to make the leaves of the carrot (green).

Finish the carrot bead

Make marks on the top part of the with the side of the toothpick.

Pierce 1 hole on top of the carrot with the toothpick.

Tips

Polymer clay can stain your hands. After using colorful clay, be sure to wash you hands to avoid stains on the other colors as well.
To make holes, use a toothpick or a large needle.
Afterhaving finished a button or a bead, immediately place it on a baking pan.
Follow the instructions for baking. Fimo polymer clay cooks at 110° for 30 minutes.
