Materials
  • Cover button kit (includes: button pattern, clasp, pusher & mold)
  • Yards of fabric
  • Ring clasps

How to make the button ring

  • Fold fabric in half and place button pattern on the folded edge.
  • Cut out a circle of fabric with the serrated scissors.
  • Press the shell into the mold.
  • Place fabric in mold with wrong side up.
  • Put button back on top of the fabric in the mod.
  • Use pusher to snap into place.
  • Remove new button from mold.
  • Use pliers to take off protruding button back.
  • Glue ring base onto the back of the button.
  • Let dry for 2-3 hours.
