Snowman Card Greeting Cards - Scrapbooking guide

Perfect for Christmas, this ATC (Artist Trading Card) snowman card will put you in the mood for the holiday season. Two different creations are included with the project:

On the right, pastels and a drawing that reminsd us of childhood, and on the left, an old piece of paper and the effect of a calligraphy writer add the scent of yesteryear. This snowman card, with its unusual design, is sure to delight whichever lucky recipient you give it to!

Supplies
Tools
  • Snowman, holly and postage stamps
  • Hole puncher
  • Scissors
  • Fine brush
Materials
  • Thick white paper
  • Black ince
  • Water-based inks, watercolors, in assorted colors
  • Watercolor pencil
  • Stack of paper
  • Old white piece of paper
  • Glue
Directions
  • Cut out a 6.5 x 9cm card from the thick white paper.
  • Stamp the snowmen with black ink and paint the motifs with the colored inks and the watercolor pencil.
  • Stamp the motif of holly in the same way on a piece of paper.
  • Cut out the holly and glue it to the corner of the card.
  • Punch holes in the old sheet of paper and open the holes with the point of the scissors to give the effect of a page ripped out of a notebook.
  • Stamp the postal stamp above.
  • Glue all the elements to the card.

Tips
  • To give the piece of paper a vintage look, crumple it and walk on it in your shoes.
  • For a parchment look, place the sheet above a flame; the paper will brown. Accentuate the effect by burning the edges of the sheet.
