A fish mobile made of sea shells that can be suspended wherever you want! A great idea to give a second life to all those shells collected during trips to the beach, this fish mobile brings a touch of summer vacation fun to a kids' nursery. This fish mobile is easy to make and can easily be adapted to be a different size.

Materials

Sheet of styrofoam (1cm thick)
Cardboard (3mm thick)
Long wooden picks (kebab or skewer sticks)
White shells
2 black pearls for the eyes
Glue
Plaque en mousse blanche

Directions

Make the shape of the fish mobile

Trace, then cut on the styrofoam, 2 identical shapes of the body of a flat fish
Trace, then cut the cardboard into 2 identical shapes of the:
- dorsal fins
- ventral fins
- flat fish tail
Measure and glue the wooden skewers to represent the veins on each fin and on the tail.

Decorate the fish mobile

Glue the shells evenly on both sides of the fish body without forgetting the two eyes made of black pearls. You can also glue the kebab skewers to mark the separation between the head and the body.
Glue the fins and tail in a sandwich between the two parts of the fish body. Make connecters out of cardboard and glue them inside to attach the sides more easily.
