Memo board How to make a memo board

In a busy life, a memo board is essential. It's a great way of organizing yourself, and can also be an original decoration for your kitchen. This memo board has a lovely Easter theme: make a hen and her chicks out of cold porcelain, and you have yourself a lovely new memo board!
Supplies
Tools
  • Modeling tools (or a kitchen knife)
  • Ball tool 2mm
  • Fine brush
  • Large brush
  • Glue gun
Materials
  • White, yellow, orange, and red cold porcelain
  • 1 wooden frame 30 x 40cm with a plexi-glass frame
  • Yellow wood stain
  • Chicken wire
  • 2 googley eyes and loose black beads
  • Small wooden tongs
  • Raffia
  • Gingham ribbon
Directions

Prepare the frame for the memo board

  • Stain the frame with yellow varnish.

  • Attach the chicken wire to the back of the frame with the plexi glass.

Make the hen for the memo board

  • Make a bundle with the raffia.

 

  • Attach it with the hot glue gun at the bottom of the chicken wire.
