Supplies
Tools
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
Materials
  • 4; 5x7 inch pieces of tissue paper (1 yellow, 3 white)
  • Embroidery floss (4 inches per daffodil)
  • Ribbon (to be used as the napkin ring)
Directions

Make the flower for the flower napkin ring

  • In a stack, fold sheets accordion style, making a band about 3/4 inches thick.

  • Trim off ends to make a pentagon.

  • Wrap embroidery floss around the center of the band making sure it's loose enough to manoeuvre the sheets but tight enough to keep them in place.

  • Fan out your sides.

NB: tape down the center of the flower to make it stay if you have trouble getting it to stay on its own.

Assemble the flower napkin ring

  • Pull the yellow layer straight up to make the center of the flower.

  • Tie to the ribbon (will be used as the napkin ring)
