Materials
- Shoe lace/elastic (will be used as a draw string)
- Fabric (stretchy polyester will fit well and be water resistant)
Directions
- Trace the outline of the bike seat on a piece of wax paper while holding the paper on the seat.
- Draw an outline with an inch all around to allow for the seams
- Cut along the larger outline
- Pin the pattern to the fabric
- Cut slits along concave curves so the edge will fold more easily
- Pin a 3/4 inch fold around the perimeter of the fabric
!: More pins will make the cover fit smoother of the seat
- Allow a gap for the drawstring when sewing the seam
- Use a shoelace or elastic as the draw string and thread through with a safety pin
- Fit cover onto seat.
