Dressing up your ribbon storage cards with material definitely brings an elegant touch to your craft supplies. Unnecessary? Actually, the layer of fabric increases the support of your ribbons, braids and rickracks.

Tools
  • Scissors

 

Materials
    • Scraps of fabric
    • Storage cards
    • Vinyl glue
Directions

Prepare the materials for the ribbon storage cards

  • Cut the pieces of fabric so that they are a little bigger than the storage cards.

  • Glue the cards and place the fabric under them.

Assemble the ribbon storage cards

  • Cut the fabric on each side of the card and glue it so that you end up having the same thing as shown in the photo below.

 

  • Glue the fabric where it is sticking out (the glue will stop the fabric from fraying).
  • Leave to dry.
  • Trim off the fabric from around the corners. 

 

  • Glue the two storage cards together, pressing firmly on them.
