Artificial Xmas Tree Xmas project: how to make an Xmas tree

A simple and extremely cheap Artificial Xmas tree idea for all the family to get involved in. Make it a truly special and family orientated festive period using this tutorial. All you need is some coat-hangers, decorations and a glue gun, and vola - your very own Christmas tree.
Supplies
Tools
  • Glue-gun
Materials
  • 30 coat-hangers without covers
  • Items to decorate the tree

Directions

Map out the artificial Xmas tree

  • Put the 30 cost-hangers on the ground to design a triangular silhouette.

  • With the glue-gun, glue the coat-hangers to each other, not missing any of the crossings.

 NB: Feel free to reinforce some areas with iron wire.

Decorate the artificial Xmas tree

  • Attach your decorations.

NB: Don’t attach too many items to the tree, or it will lose its simple shape.

Alternative

  • Spray-paint the tree with Christmas colors (red, green etc...).
