- 2 balls acrylic wool (50 gr).
- 2 flat buttons (or 2 plastic fasteners)
- Matching sewing threads
Directions
Make the shape for the preemie outfit
10cm sample = 26 stitches and 36 rows.
- Garter stitch for 8 (10 cm).
- 8 (10) cm from the top, increase each side by 25 (28) stitches.
- A 14 (16) cm from the top, create the collar by folding over the 16 (18) central stitches.
- Do both sides separately. They are knitted in the same way
- For the collar, continue towards the right for 4 (6) rows.
- Extend each edge by 1 stitch every 4 rows: 3 (4) times per stitch, then every 2 rows: 19 times per stitch.
- 12 cm in from the sleeves, fold back once the 25 (28) stiches of the sleeve.
- Continue rightwards 8 (10) cm.
Finish the preemie outfit
- Double over all the stitches.
- Finish off with 2 flat buttons (or 2 plastic fasteners).
