Paper Flower How to make paper flowers

New scrapbooking idea: Paper Flower

This is a super simple paper flower to add to your scrapbooking repertoire. It'll work with other projects, too, like framing or jewelry and can be customized with ribbons or beads.
Supplies
Tools
  • Pencil
  • Utility knife
  • Printer
  • Cutting board
Materials
  • Stiff paper
Directions

Paper flower: Rose

  • Place the template on the back of the paper.

  • Trace the outline and cut it out.

  • Mark the lines of the fold in pencil.

  • Fold along the drawn line, in both directions, and flatten.

  • Repeat this process for each petal.

  • Working clockwise, refold 2 petals toward the middle and fit the notches together.  

  • Fold the 3rd petal and fit it in under the 1st petal.

  • Do the same thing for the last petal.

 

Tips
  • Try each design on plain paper first to make sure you've got the folding technique down, then do it on the real paper for your project.
